I haven't been able to put any stories on it at all. As much as I spent on this thing I should be able to put anything on it.
I should be able to to use my itunes to download on to my daughters FP3 player. This is a great idea but should be more user friendly.
I can't download anything without it messing up. this is just a way for us to spend more money on our children.
THis thing is a pain in the A&#. I have to pay for everything.

Our 4 year old loves the fact she can listen to her music anytime any place. She has even learned how to operate the Fp3 player by herself. It's so easy and user friendly.
We've had this toy for a year now and it's fantastic. My girls turn it on and dance for hours. I've never had any problems with the toy. After loading a ton of music I hardly ever change the songs since kids will listen to the same songs over and over. Seriously, it's a great buy. I think this toy gets dropped at least once a day and just keeps working. It gets played with every single day. The neighbor kids even come over and turn it on.
We also bought the "docking station" to go with it. The player spends most of its' time in the docking station. The batteries last longer (for some reason) when it's used in the docking station, and you have to screw them in pretty tight in the player. I'm a mom of three kids with much experience with crappy toys, this one is a hit.
The problem we have is we cannot get the software to install correctly. This product is a great idea, but not a great product. It does go through the installation process but then when I try to actually run it, I get error messages. My daughter 3 1/2 loves it. for 10 minutes (because she only has the 4 preloaded songs on it). So now we are stuck with just the 4 songs and 2 stories it came with. I just tried my second disk and it said the same thing as the first.
My suggestion is to use your own cds.cost less and the kids love it more.This is has been a life saver on vactions, airplane rides, and long car rides. Over the years we have taken off and added more songs.
My son got his when he was 5 and my daughter got her's when she was 3. We own 2 of this products.
We didn't use the songs from the Fisher Price store though.we used CDs of our own and put them on the players. They are both still using it and loving it.
My son is now 7 so we might have to think about a MP3 player, but this was worth every dime. The speakers that can be purchased separatley are also a great buy.
